Today I went to Denver to watch Avery for Shawna. I haven't seen him for a week and was really missing him. Therefore, I was really excited to spend time with him.

At the harbor in Santa Barbara, I started taking photos of the Bird of Paradise, they were entirely out in full bloom. The hummingbirds looked like they were in paradise.

There is a cottonwood tree in the backyard that when the lake water rises the roots are in the lake. The top part of it is dead so it doesn't have leaves even in the summer. It is a favorite of all . . .
